Spotlight Search Limits - File Size

iForgot's Spotlight Search will search for files based on your search criteria, but you can limit searches to files small enough to be handled by your remote devices.

Limiting Spotlight Searches by File Size

If your portable electronic device or work email accounts limit the size of files sent as attachments, enter the smallest file size that you want to search for and select for forwarding. If you use a PED and a work email account to control your Mac using iForgot, enter the smaller of both file size limits. For example, if your handheld only allows 5 MB files and your work email account allows up to 10 MB, set your size limit to 5 MB. When Spotlight searches for files based on your remote command, only files smaller than 5 MB will be retrieved and eligible for forwarding.
