iForgot - iSight

Configure iForgot to send a snapshot from your home computer while you are away.

To enable iForgot to reply to your commands to send a snapshot, check the box labeled "Enable iSight Captures From Remote Devices" and configure date stamp and quality options. iForgot can control most movie cameras connected via FireWire.

To ensure that your settings are correct and the date stamp (if selected) is readable, click this button to create a preview image.

Add Date Stamp to iSight Captures

iForgot can add a date and time stamp to the still shot that it captures before sending it to your remote device. If you check the box to add a date stamp to iSight captures, set the font using the color well to be most visible for the image seen by your iSight.

iSight Image Quality

Depending on your camera, the snapshot could be a large file and might take more room on your remote device than necessary. Experiment with your equipment to find the right file size for this setting.
