The News Feeds pane is where you can display news feeds (headlines) from various sites right on your own web page.

What are news feeds or RSS feeds?

News or RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are small, easily shared summaries of news articles. You can use various tools (including Safari) to subscribe to an RSS feed to hear news about a particular subject, like Stocks or World Headlines. If you would like to publish the headlines for a feed that is applicable to your page, you can easily add them to your own blog page and the headlines will automatically update when the news publisher releases a new item. There are two types of news feeds available with Blog.Mac:
