iSight WebCam Options

The iSight WebCam section gives you control of the live iSight webcam features of Blog.Mac.

Display the current iSight snapshot on my blog

Select this checkbox if you have an iSight or DV camera connected to one of your Mac's FireWire port and you want to show the readers of your blog what is currenlty happening around you. This feature is handy to show the grandparents the new baby, check on the weather outside, or to keep an eye on the pets while you're out.

Set the title of this section of your blog or use the default title. Configure the upload frequency and image quality in Blog.Mac's Preference panel.

One caveat: Blog.Mac needs the iSight stream all to itself, so if you're running iChat or some other iSight application, Blog.Mac might display a blank white image. If this happens, you can manually set an image using the Blog.Mac main window.
