Inserting an iPhoto Album Browser or Link

When Blog.Mac is launched, it searches your .Mac iDisk for your published iPhoto albums. It will read all of your photo albums and make them available for easy linking in your blog articles or in the links block.

  • To add a link in a Blog Article:
    1. Click on the "Articles" tab on your Blog document window
    2. Click on the "Insert iPhoto Album..." drop down menu and select a photo album
    3. A sheet opens giving you the option to insert a link or a photo browser
    4. Select "Insert text-only link..."
    5. Click the "Insert" button
    6. Code is inserted in your article; click "Publish to .Mac" to see your results
  • To add a Photo Browser in a Blog Article:
    1. Click on the "Articles" tab on your Blog document window
    2. Click on the "Insert iPhoto Album..." drop down menu and select a photo album
    3. A sheet opens giving you the option to insert a link or a photo browser
    4. Select "Insert Thumbnail Browser..."
    5. If you want each small image linked to the full-size image, also check the "Link thumbnail images to full size photos" checkbox
    6. Click the "Insert" button
    7. Code is inserted in your article; click "Publish to .Mac" to see your results
  • To add a Photo Browser in the sidebar:
    1. Click on the button at the bottom of the Blog Contents navigation table
    2. Click on the "Insert iPhoto Album..." drop down menu and select a photo album
    3. A sheet opens giving you the option to re-name the title photo browser
    4. If you want each small image linked to the full-size image, also check the "Link thumbnail images to full size photos" checkbox
    5. Click the "Insert" button
    6. Code is inserted in your sidebar; select the Photo Browser from the Sidebar section of the Blog Contents navigation table to review the images
  • To add a link to the Links block:
    1. Choose the "Links" tab on your Blog document window
    2. Click on the "Insert Link to iPhoto Album" drop down menu
    3. Select the Photo Album from the drop down menu
    4. A new link is inserted; edit the Link Title as needed
