If your readers don't have your RSS feed in their favorite news reader program, you can send an e-mail invitation to them every time you publish an update. Configuring the email message is easy with Blog.Mac.
Configuring the Address List
- Check the box marked "After publishing, draft an e-mail..." at the top of the window
- Select or search for the recipient from the address book listing shown on the right side
- Click the arrow to add this person to your email list
- If you want to remove someone, select them in your list and click the "-" button
Email Invitations
When you publish your blog, an email is drafted to the people listed in the table. The message is saved each time you save your blog document, and the URL for your new blog is appended to the end of the message.
