Adding a Web Shortcut

You can add web shortcuts in one of two ways: manually or with "Drag and Drop." Make sure the Apparatus System Preferences pane is open.

To manually add a shortcut, click the "Add Shortcut" button; a new item is created with a default title and URL. Edit the title and URL by double-clicking the text and editing.

To add a shortcut (or many shortcuts) by Drag and Drop, select the URL in a web page and drag them to the correct location in the menu structure of the System Preferences pane. You can add multiple items by selecting several bookmarks from Safari and dragging them to the menu structure.

Save your changes and update the Apparatus menu by quitting System Preferences.
